Board of Directors for the National Civil War Museum

Guiding the Mission. Preserving the Story. Leading the Future.

The National Civil War Museum is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors committed to preserving America’s history, expanding educational outreach, and ensuring the long‑term stewardship of our multi‑site museum campus in Bardstown, Kentucky.


Our board brings together leaders in history, education, nonprofit management, business, and community engagement — all united by a shared mission to protect and interpret the stories of the Western Theater, women of the Civil War, American military service, and early Kentucky frontier life.

Supporting the preservation, expansion, and responsible interpretation of artifacts across all museum sites.

Oversees the museum’s financial operations, managing checking accounts, budgeting, and overall fund stewardship to ensure responsible and sustainable financial management.

Oversees the daily operations and interpretation of Old Bardstown Village and manages the museum’s Facebook presence, ensuring accurate historical representation and strong community engagement.

Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the museum’s campus, managing building repairs, facility operations, and groundskeeping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained environment for all visitors.

A reenactor and serves as the museum’s event planner, coordinating programs and activities for The National Civil War Battles of the Western Theater Museum. She also manages the museum’s Facebook posts and online event promotion, helping strengthen community engagement and public visibility.
